El Gastrónomo Zaragozano, the first free newspaper specializing in gastronomy, is born

Editorial Almozara, a specialist in the gastronomy sector, is launching a new free newspaper called El Gastrónomo Zaragozano. The aim of this project is to satisfy the needs of a public that increasingly demands gastronomic content. On the one hand, we find the traditional gastronome and, on the other hand, there are the new "Foodies" who want to know what they eat, where it comes from, where to try it, how to pair it, etc. They also want to be up to date with the activities and events related to gastronomy that are organized in the city and its surroundings. For this reason, El Gastrónomo Zaragozano wants to reflect each of these demands in its pages to become an essential guide.

This newspaper, with a total circulation of 60,000 copies, will be published bi-monthly and 6 issues per year. All of them will be distributed in most bars, restaurants, hotels, shops, cafes, Indigo car parks and waiting rooms of professional offices. Each newspaper will feature a seasonal product as the protagonist. At the same time, there will be talk of wines, beers, coffees and other essentials for enjoying an authentic gastronomic experience. There will also be a section on gastronomic news that will review the most important events that have taken place in the city. Finally, there will be El Gastrónomo Viajero, which will show us interesting routes to take beyond the limits of the province.

El Gastrónomo Zaragozano is here to vindicate the fundamental role of the press as a medium that is touched and glanced at. In this case, it is reborn in a specialized, free and popular form. In such a way that gastronomic culture, mainly from Aragon, can be accessible to everyone. The vintage air of its design pays homage to the newspaper of a lifetime.
