And the results are now known. <strong>10 finalists who will compete on June 22nd to be the best in their province and in Aragon at the Best Paquito de Ternasco de Aragon Awards 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A team of selected judges has visited and tasted the <strong>70 paquitos<\/strong> that were up for the prize out of the 74 total, evaluating different aspects such as the bread, the presentation, the balance of ingredients and the correct cooking and prominence of the flavor of the Ternasco de Arag\u00f3n in the paquito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 10 with the highest scores will cook and present their proposals at the <strong>end <\/strong>before a <strong>professional jury<\/strong>, chaired by <strong>Javier Robles,<\/strong> Master of Lamb and president of the Association of Chefs of Aragon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to Javier, the jury panel will be completed by: <strong>Ana Bel\u00e9n Asensio<\/strong>, co-owner of the Bocater\u00eda Cu\u00e9ntame in Utebo (several times winners of the Ternasco de Arag\u00f3n sandwich competitions); <strong>Pepe Puyuelo<\/strong>, president of the Association of Sommeliers of Aragon; <strong>Esther Barroso,<\/strong> Vice-president of the Association of Chefs of Aragon and cooking teacher at the IES Pedro de Luna; and <strong>Miguel Ruiz<\/strong> @takoyaki, a well-known Aragonese gastronomic influencer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The finalists from the province of Huesca are: <strong>Gastrobar El Perdido, in Jaca<\/strong>; <strong>Aragonia Tavern, Onti\u00f1ena<\/strong> and <strong>Huesca stew<\/strong>, in the capital of Huesca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17841\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Oroel-El-Perdido.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17841\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17840\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Goyo-Ontinena.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17840\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17842\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Rasa-Aragonesa-Olla-de-Huesca.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17842\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The finalists from the province of Teruel are: Inspira <strong>Delice, in Valderrobres<\/strong>; <strong>The Little Corner of Bolta\u00f1a<\/strong>, of <strong>Alca\u00f1iz <\/strong>and <strong>The Solfa Factory, in Beceite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17845\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Chocolatero-Esquinita-Boltana.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17845\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17843\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Matarranya-Fabrica-Solfa.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17843\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"17844\" src=\"https:\/\/www.el-gastronomo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Origen-Inspira-Delice.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17844\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> Finally <strong>Pome, Kempape, La Social and Ambig\u00fa<\/strong> (The Forum), the four establishments in the capital, represent the province of Zaragoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>74 little pieces of Ternasco de Arag\u00f3n lamb in 22 Aragonese towns<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is noteworthy that the 10 highest-rated establishments are located in 7 different towns, out of the 22 towns where at least one of the participants was located.
